This vignette is dedicated to Chananya J., a talmid of Rav Shimshon Z’L.
Chananya mentioned that it can be said that the sudden and unexpected way in which Rav Shimshon, his Wife and Daughter were Niftar, was truly illustrative of his legendary power of Prayer.
Indeed, Hakadosh Baruch Hu took these holy neshamos up to his Kisei Hakavod in a single instant so that Rav Shimshon wouldn’t have time to Pray for salvation. For if he had done so, there is no question that he would have been spared. Such was his Koach Hatefilah!
When Rebbe davened, he was always answered.
We are now approaching Rav Shimshon’s Yahrtzeit which always falls out on Erev Pesach. Rav Pincus was always enthralled and excited before this special Yom Tov and he looked forward to it all year!
May he continue to be a Meilitz Yosher for all of Klal Yisroel!
